Contact Jackie

Seascapes, the natural world and marine scenes are my specialty. I have always loved the sea. As a certified diver, I became acutely appreciative of ocean colors and aquatic life. This awareness is reflected in my oil paintings.

I live in south Florida now, but lived for many years near the Chesapeake Bay where I spent vacations sailing and fishing. After retiring from NASA, Hampton VA, my husband and I fulfilled a lifelong dream to cruise aboard our own sailboat to wherever our desires took us. We fell in love with Florida and its sub tropical environment, and made several crossings to the Bahamas for a taste of island life.

Thirteen years ago, without formal training, I began building my painting skills by studying privately and taking classes with local instructors. Painting is so enjoyable that I could call it therapy! I belong to the Jensen Beach Art League and the Martin County Art Associates and participate in local shows. My work is in various private collections in Florida, Virginia and California.
