Bailey Walker Bartlett
Bailey Walker Bartlett's art
My sea odyssey began when I was a young woman serving as crew aboard a commercial swordfishing boat on the Georges Bank off the New England coast. While on vacation, a windsurfing lesson introduced me to a new sport, my future husband, and my new home in Florida. Living aboard our 47' motor yacht, Adept, my family and I have frequented the Abacos and explored Florida's waterways. Now we live on the banks of the lovely Loxahatchee River, a stone's throw from the inlet at Jupiter, Florida, but another boat is definitely in our future.

I began painting a few years ago at the urging of friends and I have found it immensely rewarding and fun.

I paint in acrylic and my artistic style has been described as loose and primitive.  I am a splashy painter of both southern and northern seascapes I know and love.  I am 'Not a realist' but am motivated by my passion for color.

My work is in collections in both Florida and New England.
